Protest sign reading ‘Trans Rights are Human Rights’ against a blurred background of books, symbolising Rowling’s betrayal of trust

76. The Literary Face of Hate

The real lesson of JK Rowling’s rant against the marginal, and her policing of women’s bodies and women’s spaces

What follows is a political meditation, not a seduction. If you want only the erotic, skip this. If you want to understand the current beneath my practice, read on. And if you would like to read my original feminist post on this topic, you can find it on my substack.

Power is my medium. When you kneel for me, when you open yourself to my hand and my command, you learn the difference between cruelty and care. True domination is not abuse. It is consent, ritual, and transformation. It sharpens you. It reveals you. It heals.

But power can also be stolen. It can be dressed in the voice of reason, softened with the tone of care, and then turned against the vulnerable. That is what J.K. Rowling has done.

She built her empire on fantasy, selling us a world where love defeated cruelty, where outsiders became family. Millions of children grew up believing her stories were spells of protection. She was trusted. She was called a mother. And then she turned that trust against us. She spends her moral capital not on inclusion but on exclusion, laundering hate in the language of safety.

This is not new to me. It is the same script patriarchy runs against women and sex workers. They tell us they are protecting us, while they strip away our autonomy. They preach purity while they legislate our bodies. Rowling is not separate from this. She has inserted herself into the politics of women’s bodies by declaring who counts as a woman. That is whorephobia’s twin. That is the same architecture of control.

Clients come to me for ritualised surrender. They learn that power in my hands is not abuse, it is revelation. But Rowling offers no ritual, no consent. She takes the intimacy of her readers, the loyalty of her fans, and uses it to justify exclusion. That is the mirror opposite of domination: it is control without care.

You know me as Valentina because I do not hide behind masks. I do not lie about what I am or what I do. Rowling hides behind hers. She presents exclusion as protection. She presents cruelty as care. She presents fear as reason. This is what makes her dangerous: she does not scream. She whispers. She whispers in the language of safety, and people believe her.

I tell my clients: never confuse surrender with silence. Never confuse restraint with erasure. What Rowling is selling is not safety. It is the old poison of patriarchy, poured into a new cup, sold with a familiar face.

You come to me to feel power honestly. To strip away masks. To know what is real. That is the work of domination when it is done right. And that is why I cannot stay silent here.

If you want only the erotic, you can stop reading now. But if you want to understand why I dominate as I do, this is it: to protect the dolls. To protect what is fragile. To show what power can be in the right hands.

Do not mistake cruelty for care. Do not let words launder hate. Do not stay silent. Protect the dolls.

This is why I dominate as I do: not to erase, but to reveal. Not to control, but to care.

An Invitation

If you are here, something in you has already responded.

This is not casual booking, and it is not for everyone. I work with people who are curious, intelligent, and willing to take responsibility for what they want.

Those who wish to work with me do not request. They present themselves.

Begin here.

About Me

Mx Valentina is a feminist dominatrix, a trans and intersex woman, whose practice centres on ethical power exchange and the conditions under which lives reorganise themselves around purpose rather than shame. Her work is selective and relational, grounded in the belief that submission is not a role to be played but an orientation that must already be present. She works only with those who understand that access is conditional and authority is not negotiated.  You can find my scholarly feminist writing on Substack and lighter pieces on Medium.

Author

  • I am Valentina Dellagravis: muse, companion, and priestess of touch.  I believe that the erotic is a sacred path, and when trod with intent, becomes a force to transform our lives.

My work is with those who wish to infuse their lives with deep and lasting pleasure.

A practitioner of power dynamics and polarity, I am an alchemist of desire, and use somatic experiencing, touch therapy, Tantra, kink, ritual, and intimacy to move together in and out of your shadows.

As an intersex woman, I live the liminal space between male and female and know how rare it is to inhabit both worlds.
